Dave’s Rock`n`Roll shows have been operating continuously (time off for Covid-19) since 1998 and is now in its 26th year. He is currently hosting a regular monthly show at Ettalong Bowling Club where he never ceases to draw large numbers. The show consists of good old rock`n`roll, with a mix of other various music genres that keep dancers happy. Also provided are vintage videos that keep the crowd entertained. Dave has the knack of not only knowing what to play, but when to play it.
Dave is quite experienced in the entertainment/music industry having spent time working on radio and fronting numerous bands including At The Hop, Grand Daddy Cool, The Jitterbuggers, Red River Rockers in addition to the Johnny O’Keefe Tribute Show. He also appears regularly at cabarets with his Golden Oldies show, singing tributes to the greats such as Al Jolson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and others.
While still performing with At The Hop and as a solo performer, another one of his side projects is working in a duo known as Denim & Lace where they love nothing more than to set a dance floor alight with their renditions of songs from the golden years of rock`n`roll. In addition, Dave is currently working on a new venture, The Hoboken Little Big Band, a six piece combo which specialises in swing music from 1940/50s.
No matter in what capability Dave may be performing in, together with his audience interaction and professional attitude, Dave always ensures that a good time is had by all.
